Sad beastly account today. Yoda, a Chinese crested-Chihuahua mix and the ascendant champ of the World's Ugliest Dog crown, has anesthetized away. She was 15.

Yoda becoming the celebrated accolade in June 2011 at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in California. For her adamant (BOO!) following of the honor, Yoda won $1,000!

R.I.P. YODA: A dog so ugly, it's absolute adorable!

In an email to the Hanford Sentinel, Yoda's buyer Terry Schumacher writes, "Say a adoration today 4 my YODA... She anesthetized abroad aftermost night in her sleep."

"I will absence her funny little ways! But comforted alive she will be abutting my Mom and Dad, who admired her so much! Her memories will alive on forever!!!"
